“A Site of Conscience: The Haunting Legacy of the Mansfield Training School”

Hosted by the UConn Humanities Institute, the Co-Directors of this project and their researchers discuss the connection between institutions for people with disabilities and higher education, for example, through the University of Connecticut and the Mansfield Training School. In this talk, they discuss interesting artifacts from archival collections, writings from researchers using disability studies theory, posters from the MTSMM traveling museum exhibit, and explore the Mansfield Training School Memorial and Museum website.
